As soon as TRI.BE’s European tour was announced, I went crazy.

Seeing TRI.BE in Spain was a complete dream for me. One of my favorite groups of all time, not only because of who they are, but because of what their music and they make me feel. It was something I never thought would happen.

There I was, the first one to buy tickets on the website. I got the best ticket, I needed to have my TRUE experience 100%. I also decided to buy the merch bundle to fully support the tour and, on top of that, have many tangible memories of this show.

You can’t imagine how excited and emotional I was for this concert. Honestly, I don’t know how to explain all that I feel for this group and how much they help me every day. Unfortunately, one month before the concert, the promoter announced that the stops in Madrid and Milan had been canceled. They didn’t give any explanation, just that TRI.BE would no longer perform in Spain or Italy. The moment I read that news, sadness overwhelmed my body. Tears started falling down my face.

Why cry about something like this?

Because this concert meant so much to me. Even though I had other amazing concerts lined up for 2024, this one from TRI.BE had a very special meaning for me. They and their music are there for me when I’m the saddest or when I’m about to give up. That concert was what kept me going, thinking that soon I would fulfill a dream, so it was a big blow to me when I realized I wouldn’t be able to see the girls in my country.

After a little cry, I thought: "You can’t just sit there, doing nothing. Find a solution."

And that’s exactly what I did. With the little savings I had and with a bit of luck, I started searching for a solution. Months earlier, my work had given me vacation time the week after the supposed Madrid concert, so I came up with the brilliant idea to try to go to another stop. I decided to pack my things and fly wherever to fulfill this dream, no matter what happened. So that’s what I did.

The stops that week were Frankfurt, Berlin, or Munich, all in Germany. So, I got to work figuring out which one would be the best option. A couple of days passed until I decided that Berlin was going to be my final destination. With all three options, I had to go to Barcelona to catch a flight, whether direct or with layovers. I remember that it was less than a month before the tour started, and with the little savings I had, a direct flight to Berlin from any city seemed impossible. I had to go on an adventure, and I was willing to do anything to see these amazing girls.

One of the reasons I decided to go back to the German capital was because I loved the city when I saw RED VELVET there in 2023, so I knew going back would be iconic. I bought the tickets for Berlin, this time without the merch bundle because they didn’t offer it, and I also booked the flights along with the hotel. Everything was ready to begin an adventure I would never forget.

On Monday, June 3, I drove my car to Barcelona. I had a flight to Bologna and later another one to Berlin. It was a bit of an exhausting trip, many hours of waiting and kilometers traveled, but it was worth it because the next day I would see TRI.BE.

On the morning of June 4, I was already nervous. I slept poorly because of all that awaited me that day. As soon as I woke up, I started preparing a few letters with a small "gift" I had made for the girls. After the cancellation of the Madrid concert, I had the idea to create something for them to show that their Spanish fans were still here and that they would always be welcomed in our country. So, I set out to make invitation tickets so that the next time they came to Spain, they would have churros on me. I don’t know why, but it felt like a sweet idea to show them that we were still supporting them no matter what. So, I did that. I prepared a mini letter to go with the tickets.

After that, I got ready and made my way to Hole44, the concert venue.

When I arrived, I saw that there were more people than I expected in front of me. I had arrived just one hour before the doors opened, but it was clear that there were many people who had been there much longer. After the doors opened, it was time to wait for the group photo with the girls. The nerves were starting to show. I was just minutes away from seeing the members of one of the most important groups to me in person. It was a once-in-a-lifetime moment.

And out came the girls. Honestly, in person, they are like Greek goddesses from Mount Olympus. They are amazing. I got so nervous for the photo, but I tried to put on my best face because it was one of the most beautiful moments of the entire year. As I mentioned in the video, after the photo, I saw JIA and SONGSUN laughing, so I figured one of them did something to me. And I wasn’t wrong.

I love this photo, it feels iconic. They are the best.

After the photo, we were told we had about 15 minutes to buy merch before the soundcheck, and that’s exactly what I did. The stand was in a corner of the venue, and I wanted to buy both t-shirts since they didn’t let me buy the merch bundle for this stop. Just as I was about to swipe my card on the terminal, the girls came out on stage and started singing "Diamond." Like a crazy person, from the other side of the room, I started doing the fanchant. I was so embarrassed because I saw the girls laughing, but I didn’t care at all. Plus, another girl who was in the merch line gave me such a disgusted look, but I ignored her and kept doing my thing.

As I mention in the video, the soundcheck was a fantasy. It’s something that’s always worth experiencing. And even more so if they sing "WONDERLAND" in such a fun and carefree way.

Now, about the concert.

What can I say? An absolute fantasy.

They started with that iconic intro from their debut years and then presented "DOOM DOOM TA," a total banger. Moving on to "Loca," the crowd obviously went crazy for the song—pun intended. We continued with the B-side "Run," which I find beautiful and gives me In The Air (777) vibes that make my heart feel soft. Then came "WOULD YOU RUN," and honestly, I teared up when I heard it. Don’t ask me why, but it was such a beautiful moment. "LORO" was out of this world, I screamed the loudest during the "¡Repite como un loco!" because it had to be clear that a Spanish fan was singing in Spanish. Then we moved on to the subunits with "-18" and "Got Your Back." I swear, it’s incredible how these girls dance and the vocal ability they have—it's insane. Then came "RUM-A-DUM," and let me tell you, it was a complete crazy song, the crowd screamed so much. And with "KISS," the same thing happened—when I saw them get into formation to start singing, I went absolutely wild, definitely one of my favorites. Then there's the song "WE ARE YOUNG," which always manages to lift my spirits no matter what, I love it. And we ended with "Diamond," my Song of the Year for this year, and with "STAY TOGETHER" as the perfect final touch.

It’s clear that these songs make me feel something special, I adore them, and they bring back a ton of unique memories and emotions.

Now came the fansign, and I think I express very well all the feelings I had during the signing with the girls in the video.

I’d like to finish by talking a bit about them.

Let’s start with MIRE. 🐶

I’ve always said it, and I’ll keep saying it. She is pure talent. She’s a 360 artist, from head to toe. For her to debut so young and still not be 18... it feels so crazy and unreal. I think about my teenage self, and I see how MIRE already has her career and life on track. It’s such an achievement. This girl is going to go far, simply because of her naturalness and because she was born for this, to be an artist.

Now, with SOEUN. 🐰

Every time I see SOEUN, I see a very transparent and natural person. Although she might seem tough, she’s a sweetheart, and we need to protect her with all our heart and love. I don’t know, maybe it sounds weird, but I wouldn’t want anyone to hurt her because she deserves to be super mega happy and always keep that joy that is so characteristic of her. I think she’s a fundamental piece of the group and one of the ones who always keeps the smiles going for the other members. SOEUN is that person you always need in your life for her joy, her laughter, and her personality. She’s fantastic, and I hope she always finds happiness in what she loves most.

Let’s talk about JIA. 🦜

She’s one of the most adorable people I’ve ever seen. She’s a great artist. It’s clear she loves being on stage, and she was born to be an artist. Her comfort and ease while dancing make watching JIA a wonderful experience. Vocally, JIA is a total genius—her live performance is spectacular. I would love to have a chat with her and spend hours talking. She struck me as the type of person you could talk to about anything, and you would never get bored of being with her.

Next, we have HYUNBIN. 🦊

I’ll always say she’s the coolest girl I know. The style, the vibe that HYUNBIN carries is out of this world. I find her personality and the feminine power she radiates just by looking at me crazy. She’s one of the best dancers I’ve seen live, in addition to her vocal talent. She and SONGSUN are the perfect examples of hard work and determination. I would love to be even 1% of what she is, and I’d like her to know all the support and love we have for her. She’s amazing and incredible, and I hope she knows how much we care about her.

Now, KELLY. 🦥

I wish I could tell KELLY that she’s amazing. She’s another one of those people I would love to protect with my soul. It’s clear that she’s pure and good by nature, plus she wouldn’t hurt a thing. A lot of people think KELLY is too shy, but for me, that’s her essence, and what makes her special. Getting to know her is a challenge that TRUE fans would love to discover. But everyone is who they are, and she’s just as adorable as she is. I can honestly say she has one of my favorite smiles in the world, and seeing that beautiful expression on her face live is something I’ll never forget. Seeing her smile made my heart happy.

Finally, we have SONGSUN. 🐹

I’m sorry if SONGSUN ever sees all the pictures I took of her, but I hope she likes them. What can I say about her? I already wrote it in the letter, but I’ll never get tired of repeating it. I admire her. I admire SONGSUN so much. She’s someone who has fought for her dream for a long time, and after giving it her all every day, she finally made it. I wish I could be like her, as brave and as much of a fighter as she is.

She’s taught me many things. Even that sometimes giving up isn’t the end. Like she did, she came back to doing what she loves, and she succeeded. She’s many things. Besides being a super kind and sweet person, she made me incredibly happy that day. I want to thank her again for all those times she saw me about to photograph her and would pose. Those moments are the ones that will always live in me as a memory of a happy day.

And what can I say about her on stage? To me, she’s one of the best voices I’ve ever heard. Her live performance, her vocal power, and what she makes you feel are things that are difficult to explain with words. Without a doubt, all the training and the daily struggle show because she has a unique voice in the world.

I want to thank all the members. Even though they don’t know it, they always actively participate in my life with their music. I hope I can enjoy one of their concerts in Spain. As promised with the ticket, I’ll invite them to churros with a smile from ear to ear.
