🍰🌈 RED VELVET in BERLIN 🍒🎤
gimme that, your lips." 🐰 🐻 🐶 🐢 🐥 ChatGPT Plus ChatGPT Traveling to Berlin in 2023 to see RED VELVET was one of the most exciting and crazy decisions I’ve ever made. I had never been to Germany before, and it was my first time in a city that I was going to fall in love with. Finally, I could cross off my bucket list the chance to see, now in a completely solo concert, one of the most iconic and beloved groups in the industry. Listening to their latest songs and greatest hits was a unique and unforgettable moment that made this trip one of my favorites to date. IRENE, WENDY, SEULGI, and YERI were the stars of a wonderful night in Berlin. Unfortunately, JOY was on a break to recover her mental health. "I scream, you scream, gimme that, gimme that, your lips." 🐰 🐻 🐶 🐢 🐥
The moment I bought tickets for this concert, I knew I was about to live one of the most exciting experiences of my life. The trip to Berlin to see RED VELVET in 2023 was a wonderful madness inspired by my love and passion for this iconic group. Having seen them in London in 2022 sparked in me a strong desire to enjoy a full concert by the Red Velvet.
Although that year RED VELVET participated in the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona, life didn’t give me the opportunity to see the girls in my country, and I wanted to enjoy a solo concert by the group, as only they know how to do. That’s why I made the decision to embark on the adventure of going to Berlin to enjoy RED VELVET's essence a few months earlier.
The idea of seeing IRENE, SEULGI, WENDY, JOY, and YERI live again made me not hesitate for a second when the tickets went on sale. Unfortunately, a few days before the tour started, it was announced that JOY wouldn’t participate in the activities with the rest of the members because she needed a break to recover her health. It was the second time I was seeing the girls and the second time I wouldn’t see the amazing JOY. In 2022, she couldn’t be at the MIK festival because she was filming the drama “Unexpected Country Diary.” It was very sad not to hear JOY's incredible voice live, but I know that in the future, I’ll be able to enjoy all the members in a concert.
May arrived, and I boarded a plane to Milan.
Milan? Wasn’t the concert in Berlin? Yes, that’s true, but from Zaragoza (my city), there’s no direct flight to Berlin. I had two options: go to Barcelona, which has many more flights and is only an hour and a half away by train, or stay in Zaragoza, take a flight to Milan, spend a day there, and then fly to Berlin. The latter itinerary suited me better, so I headed to Italy.
After a day in Milan, I arrived in Berlin. A city that, the more I visited, the more I loved. I adored it, and I knew that someday in the future, I’d return. Plus, the best part was yet to come: the concert.
I met a group of fans on Twitter, and we decided to line up early to try to get closer to the stage. By around 2 p.m., we were already queuing to see the girls. The Reveluvs I met were very nice, and we had a great time together, creating fond memories.
We entered the venue, and honestly, we didn’t have a bad spot. Obviously, we couldn’t be at the barricade because we didn’t have the most expensive tickets, but everything looked great from where we stood in the pit.
As soon as the concert began, I knew it was going to be a moment I’d never forget. Goosebumps with every song the girls performed. They were amazing. From the slower opening with their fantastical outfits, to the energetic finale that turned into a huge party.
Remembering IRENE's elegant presence, SEULGI's powerful energy, WENDY's angelic voice, and YERI's great charisma makes me relive this concert with immense happiness. Every song and dance had the entire audience shouting the lyrics to this wonderful group's songs at the top of their lungs. From their recent releases at the time, like "Feel My Rhythm" and "Birthday", to hits like "Queendom", "Red Flavor", "Peek-A-Boo", "Bad Boy", "Psycho", and "Russian Roulette", as well as some of my favorite B-Sides such as "Bamboleo", "Oh Boy", "Pose", and "My Dear", to the electrifying "Zimzalabim" and "You Better Know".
The live vocals of these girls are out of this world—it’s truly something you have to experience in person to understand the beautiful feeling that washes over you when you’re there.
The connection with the Reveluvs was very intense; everything was filled with joy, emotion, and even tears seeing such a wonderful group of girls. One of the coolest memories was during "Zimzalabim". The girls wanted the audience to go wild, and that’s exactly what we did. I started shouting and jumping while singing the song. Suddenly, a girl next to me, whom I didn’t know at all, grabbed my hand and joined in my craziness to enjoy that moment as if it were the last.
