🎤✨ IU in LONDON 💂‍♂️🎶

That in September 2023, I walked out of the theater after watching "IU CONCERT: The Golden Hour" saying that if I had actually been at that concert, I would have fainted at least five times. Less than a year later, I found myself with the opportunity to experience one of the best artists of our time live in London.

Traveling to London, a city that brings me many memories and experiences, where I started my concert adventures with the MIK in 2022. A place where I feel comfortable and knew I would enjoy it like a little girl.

It was a very complete concert, where IU sang her biggest hits. It's hard to name them all because this girl makes the most of the time she spends with her fans at each stop, letting her followers enjoy a large part of her discography.

We can highlight, first of all, all the songs from her most recent mini-album released up until that date: "The Winning". An album with very distinctive sounds, where we find more balladic songs like "Love Wins All", alongside more upbeat tracks with a jazz touch like "Shh...". The concert opened with the energy of "Holssi", followed by "Shopper", which I love, and "I Stand U", which I particularly enjoy because of its meaning.

Iconic songs like "Jam Jam", "Ah Puh", "BBIBBI", "Celebrity", "Blueming", "Coin", "Havana", and many others from her famous catalog. I highly recommend listening to IU's discography one day because she is a very versatile artist, different from the commercial music that is mostly heard today.

My favorites, without a doubt, were "Obliviate", "eight", "Strawberry Moon", "YOU&I", and "LILAC". Hearing some of my favorite songs by the wonderful Lee Jieun made me realize how lucky I am to be able to live these experiences thanks to my effort and bravery. These moments make me feel happy and, above all, alive.

Her live performance is out of this world, even though it was a rectangular stage, she used the entire space in an incredible way. The confetti, lights, videography—EVERYTHING—was pure madness. This is truly an artist in every sense, with a show to match her talent.

Seeing this GODDESS, overflowing with talent and that amazing voice, was a festival of feelings and emotions. I can honestly say I had goosebumps throughout the entire concert. This happens to me often when listening to music; if I hear a particular voice or a certain song, my body reacts like that. And, clearly, with Lee Jieun, I spent almost the whole concert with my emotions running high.

I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to see her in Europe and for her to see that she is deeply loved by the audience. She is an artist from head to toe, very human, dedicated to her work and, above all, to her fans. It’s an honor to have been at that concert, and I feel truly fortunate.

All I can say is that attending a concert of this caliber is truly an honor and a privilege.

A bucket list dream checked off and fulfilled. 🎹

Every day, I am more certain that she is an icon of music and will go down in modern history. 🖼️
