Second trip to Paris for the third concert of September 2023. A total beast of a show.
Second Express Trip to Paris in a Month
It was time to see AESPA, one of SM’s most important groups. And honestly, I totally understand why. These girls are pure fire on stage.
I bought the tickets for this concert after the official sale. They were released while I was in Berlin for the concert of their sunbaenims, RED VELVET, so I missed the regular sale. Once I got back to Spain, I bought the tickets without even checking where the seats were or which category I was buying. I have to admit the tickets were very expensive for the seat I got, but it was worth it if I wanted to enjoy this concert.
I didn't have the chance to attend the soundcheck this time, so I decided to take this trip as a relaxing and peaceful experience. I planned to arrive at the venue just before the concert began, without having to line up for hours since I already had my spot in the stands.
As I entered and took my seat, I noticed how the MYs were anxiously waiting to see KARINA, GISELLE, WINTER, and NINGNING in action on stage. The atmosphere was full of excitement and joy, even before the concert began.
And what can I say about the show itself? It was absolutely mind-blowing.
The energy these girls bring is unmatched. Their entrance left me speechless. "Oh my god," I thought. Starting with "GIRLS", one of my favorite songs from the group, was insane. Seeing WINTER playing the guitar live? That was next-level. Experiencing it in person was just spectacular.
Of course, they performed their most famous songs since this was their first tour. I got to enjoy their title tracks like "aenergy", "Savage", "Dreams Come True", "Spicy", "Next Level", and "Black Mamba". Each one was more iconic than the last. Honestly, hearing so many of the coolest songs of recent years live was unforgettable.
Additionally, they switched up the setlist for Europe, adding the masterpiece "Hold On Tight". That was absolutely insane. I adore this song, and experiencing it live was otherworldly.
This concert holds such precious memories for me—carefree and full of fun. I enjoyed AESPA like a little kid, and I can confidently say this trip evokes the purest and most sincere emotions in me.
Without a doubt, these girls' songs are, in my opinion, some of the most energetic and badass in the K-pop industry. I love listening to them while working out because it reminds me of the thrill of seeing these incredible artists live.
A trip that was very chill, I went with a very relaxed mindset to see the SM girls.
It was an absolute blast enjoying AESPA's hits.
The "aenergy" these girls give me day by day is what helps me keep going. ❄️🌐
